This website marks the beginning of the end. One last attempt is a website that will document my journey into developing software. I have wanted to be a developer of software for as long as I can remember, I remember using my very first computer over 20 years ago and yet here we are, nowhere closer to achieving the goal of developing software. There are so many external influences that I can pin this failure on but that would be a pointless exercise. I will not look back in anger, to quote the song, however - I will learn from the past mistakes. This is why I have decided to create one last attempt. This website will serve as a timeline of my studies, I will be able to look back and see how far I have come and I can be proud of myself.

Aside from somewhere to look back on, I have read in multiple articles that the best way to learn and prove your understanding of a topic is to talk about it. I have learnt that if you are able to tell a child how something works, you understand it well enough.

One habit I have had in the past is moving too quickly and getting overwhelmed. I feel that time is running out for me to learn and produce software, I am not a child prodigy but that's okay - I don't need to be. I just need to spend the remainder of my time here on earth as best as I can. That means making sure that when I can, I do - no excuses.
